On January 11, Devanir Cavalcante de Lima was approved as Co-Chairmain of the Organising Committee for the preparation and holding of the VII International Municipal BRICS Forum.
Brazil holds the presidency of the BRICS interstate association in 2025. Mr. de Lima's appointment reaffirms the commitment to strengthen ties and implement initiatives aimed at sustainable and inclusive development, for which the IMBRICS Forum is a unique platform for discussing topical issues in various aspects of territorial management.
