On July 25, 2025, negotiations with the Indian business delegation were held at the headquarters of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE), dedicated to strengthening export-import cooperation with Russian business.
Indian colleagues expressed their desire to promote construction technologies on the Russian market, as well as to develop cooperation in the metallurgical industry, building strong ties with Russian metal producers.

The meeting was attended by Mikhail Cherepanov, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the VII IMBRICS Forum. The parties discussed key aspects of cooperation, including the presentation of Indian projects, the search for partners and the conclusion of agreements within the framework of the upcoming event. They also seriously discussed a number of projects that are interesting for Indian representatives to implement in the Russian Federation.

The meeting also touched upon the issue of the participation of Indian companies in the VII International Municipal Forum BRICS, which is scheduled for November 20-21, 2025 in St. Petersburg.

Mikhail Cherepanov emphasized the strategic importance of cooperation with India: "India is one of Russia's key partners within BRICS, and we are interested in expanding cooperation. Today's meeting is a continuation of cooperation with Indian colleagues, which began in April of this year at a meeting in the Government of St. Petersburg. We are confident that the participation of colleagues from India in the November forum will allow us to take Russian-Indian relations to a new level".
