On January 23, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Committee for Foreign Economic Activities of the BRICS Joint Centre for Business Cooperation (JCBC) and JSC Lenfilm Studio
The Memorandum was signed by Anatoly Emets, Head of the Committee for Foreign Economic Activities of the JCBC, and Nadezhda Andriushchenko, Director General of JSC "Lenfilm", in the presence of representatives of the relevant committees and organisations of the BRICS countries and partner countries engaged in foreign economic activities.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish partnership relations, coordinate mutual interests and develop cooperation in creating patriotic film projects to disseminate accurate information about Russia and promote the values of a fair, multipolar world.
The IMBRICS Plus Business Communications Foundation was represented at this event by Vladimir Muzharovskiy, Deputy Chairman of the Board.
"Cooperation in the field of cinema is one of the key components of multilateral interaction between the BRICS countries and their partners, which has a significant potential for the transmission of values and traditions, as well as the formation of a positive image of each of the member countries of the association," commented Vladimir Muzharovskiy.
Cultural interaction will be one of the areas of work of the VII International Municipal BRICS Forum, which will be held on November 20-21, 2025, in St. Petersburg. Discussion platforms with leading experts will be organised on the margins of the Forum, which will be an excellent opportunity to share experience and develop further joint initiatives.
