Meeting with Deputy Director General of the News.ru agency Anastasia Buchneva

On April 17, Mikhail Cherepanov, Vice-President of the ICIE, met with Anastasia Buchneva, Deputy Director General of the News.ru agency.

In the course of the talks, points of contact were identified both in the immediate preparation of the VII International Municipal BRICS Forum, which will be held in St. Petersburg on November 20-21, and in the development of cooperation with the ICIE.

In 2025 the regional offices of the ICIE will start their work, which aroused some interest for News.ru. The meeting discussed close cooperation within the framework of this strategy of cooperation with the regions of the Russian Federation. There was also a presentation of the VII IMBRICS Forum, a report on past events in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Each year, the Forum has gained momentum, increasing the total number of participants and broadening the business programme to attract foreign delegates. This year the organisers will focus on various aspects of the economy, including the exchange of successful practices in territorial management,' said Mikhail Cherepanov.

The general concept of the event has aroused the interest of News.ru and its readiness to act as a strategic media partner of the Forum.

We express our intention for long-term cooperation with News.ru and also propose to develop a joint roadmap for future steps of effective work,' said Anastasia Buchneva.
