On January 22, a solemn conference dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was held. The conference became a platform for discussing the historical heritage and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
The Organising Committee of the VII IMBRICS Forum is also actively working with Vietnam, and especially with the Hanoi Businessmen's Association, with which a cooperation agreement was signed on the margins of the VI IMBRICS, EC (fall session) in 2024.

"I would also like to note that, in the second quarter, we are forming a delegation of Russian business representatives to Vietnam. Our guests will be received personally by the head of the Hanoi Businessmen Association, Nguyen Hong Son, which we agreed on after signing a co-operation agreement at the last Forum. In other words, Russian businesses participating in the BRICS Foundation business mission will be organised negotiations at the most serious level by Vietnam," commented Mikhail Cherepanov, Chairman of the Organising Committee
